Jordyn Rayne is a 26-year-old pop/punk powerhouse from Edmonton, delivering a soaring vocal range and unapologetic attitude. Her sound fuses the raw grit of early 2000s pop/punk with a fresh, modern twist—think catchy hooks, shredding guitar solos, and lyrics that champion female empowerment. Her most recent single, "Pandora's Box," has now reached over 20k views on the music video on YouTube and is growing. Her single “Hellhound” made it as a semi-finalist in the Music in Motion Canada Music Awards and has stormed international charts, hitting #6 on Valley FM (Australia), #1 on This Is Only Rock Radio (Spain), and KB Radio’s Top 40. Her 2024 debut album, “Lady,” cemented her as a voice for her generation, receiving coverage in The Edmonton Journal and reaching #10 on CJSR-Edmonton's Top 30 list. Jordyn’s most recent notable accomplishment is signing with Midtown Radio and recording a song with Juno Award-winning, Grammy-nominated, and original member of the band Glass Tiger, Michael Hanson, in February 2026. Jordyn has already lit up stages at the Beaumont Music Festival, Taste of Edmonton, and the Magnificent River Rats Festival, and completed her 10-stop Alberta summer tour, “Here Comes The Rayne.” Jordyn Rayne is redefining pop/punk for a new era. Edmonton-based pop-punk singer-songwriter capturing the raw energy of early 2000s rock with a modern edge. Drawing on Avril Lavigne and Paramore, Jordyn brings shredding guitar solos, radio-ready melodies, and a message of female empowerment. Her 2024 debut album Lady tackles social media, femininity, and the struggles of Gen Z head-on, and her recent single Hellhound cracked the top 10 in Spain and reached number six on Valley FM in Australia.

?NUMB?DAME? (Vancouver, BC)

A queer, DIY art-punk trio described as hardcore-pop, emo, and experimental. Conceptualized foremost as a live experience, ?NUMB?DAME? brings improvisation, social commentary, dance grooves, and very loud noise every time they play. Their debut LP give us ten million dollars to kill arms dealers dropped in June 2025 on Fanta Records.

An emotive rock four-piece from Vancouver drawing on the stark verses and catchy choruses of influences like The Replacements and Manchester Orchestra. Guitar-driven, earnest, and built for a room that listens.

An active presence in the Vancouver DIY punk scene, Space Crash Echoes have been building their following through relentless gigging and a recent EP release.

For the first time ever, CAWES is turning up the volume with an electrifying new fundraiser - Battle of the Bands: Voices for Change.

This inaugural event brings together live music, community, and a bit of friendly competition for one unforgettable night — all in support of a meaningful cause.

Watch as selected bands take the stage to compete for a $1,000 cash prize and 3 hours of studio time (courtesy of GB Music & Sound). Second place takes home $500, and third place earns $250. Performances will be judged by a panel, including a special guest judge.

The winning band will also have their name added to the official CAWES Battle of the Bands trophy.

Alongside the music, guests can take part in a 50/50 draw and browse a silent auction throughout the evening.
