“Lady" is Jordyn's second full-length album and will serve as a perfect representation of Jordyn’s energy on stage and serves as her debut rock release. The whole album contains messages portraying societal issues such as the effects of social media on the body image of women, the view of femininity, effects of cyberbullying, and youths struggling to leave the nest in a changing economy. The album accompanies these messages with the sound of early 2000's pop/punk tunes. With catchy radio made melodies to shredding guitar solos this album provides music that anyone can enjoy. With many sounds ranging from a hard hitting Nickelback song to a wholesome Taylor Swift ballad this album characterises Jordyn’s range of musical inspirations. Inspirations like Miley Cyrus, Avril Lavigne, Stevie Nicks and Pat Benetar. “Lady” is full of songs that you would hear on your top 40 radio and rock radio stations on the way to work jamming in your car.

Local Edmonton rock artist Jordyn Rayne is scheduled to perform on July 23rd, 2024 at the Taste of Edmonton Festival. She will be playing a 45 minute set at 12pm in Sir Winston Churchill Square with a mix of cover songs, originals from her first album and from her new album “Lady” to be released in May 2024.
